Established by Rob Schwager, Tiny Bird Press is a small, one-man print shop. It's where I create limited edition, hand-printed serigraphs (screen printed art).
I used to screen print my own poster and flyer designs for various punk rock shows and concerts back in the 90's while living in Chicago. I missed the hand-made, DIY process of creating those prints. So, I decided to re-visit those days by starting Tiny Bird Press.
All the artwork for my prints is created in the traditional manner using pencils, paper, erasers, etc… as well as the occasional computer. Then, each print is hand-pulled by myself, which helps to ensure the highest possible quality in my art.

Here’s a snippet from that illustration I was inking that I posted on instagram a few weeks ago. It’s all colored, sepped and ready to screen print. It’s an upcoming tribute print inspired by Jack Kirby and Monster Magnet. I’m going to be screen printing it as my schedule permits. What’s a better combination than Jack Kirby and Monster Magnet….? Nothing.
